08/09/26 - The Book of Exodus Pt. 4

As we continue through The Book of Exodus, Israel has spent generations waiting for deliverance. Their cries rise to God, and Scripture tells us that God hears, remembers, sees, and knows. His “remembering” isn't because He had forgotten His people—it signals that the time has come for Him to act upon His covenant promises. At the burning bush, God calls Moses to return to Egypt and lead His people out of slavery. Moses responds, “Who am I?” God's answer isn't a list of Moses's qualifications, but a promise: “I will be with you.” That same truth gives God's people courage to step forward in faithful obedience today.
