08/16/26 - The Book of Exodus Pt. 5

Aug 16, 2026    Nate Palmer

Continuing at the burning bush in Exodus 3, Moses asks God an important question: “What shall I say when they ask Your name?” God's answer—“I AM WHO I AM”—reveals far more than a name. God is eternal, self-existent, unchanging, sovereign, and greater than anything Moses will encounter in Egypt. He is also the covenant-keeping God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who has heard the cries of His people and is ready to act. As Moses prepares to return to Egypt, we're challenged to stop allowing endless “what if?” questions to prevent obedience and instead become people so captivated by God that we're willing to follow wherever He leads.
